Emma Monama

Former PARI Masters Research Fellow

Emma Monama graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Geography and Environmental Sciences in 2012 from Wits. She has completed her Masters Degree as a PARI Nedbank Fellow. Her research is part of the broader “New Emerging Communities” project. Her thesis will explore racial and class identity and the socio-economic changes in Mokopane, Limpopo. Her research interests include spatial change, race/class identity, economic development, social integration and climate change.
