Laura Phillips

Former PARI Masters Research Fellow

Laura completed her undergraduate degree in History and Gender at the UCT, her Honours in History at Wits and her Masters degree in African Studies at the University of Oxford. She has researched and written on the history of domestic work in South Africa and the politics of sexual health and population control in east Africa. She is now conducting research into the history of the Bantustans and their legacy in post-1994 South Africa.
