The Strategic Dialogue Group (SDG) and Public Affairs Research Institute (PARI) say it’s practical solutions and actions that can rescue state-owned entities. SDG and PARI held a joint interactive dialogue session over the weekend aimed at improving public discourse about how to address South Africa’s poverty and inequality through SOEs. During the dialogue it was recognised that progress had been made in turning around very dysfunctional institutions but some significant concerns still need to be addressed.
