Daniel Sher

Daniel Sher is a researcher in the Land Governance Programme at PARI. He grew up in Johannesburg and holds degrees in History from Wits University (BA, BA Hons) and Leiden University, the Netherlands (MA). Daniel has worked in education advocacy, conducting research on South African education provision and developing popular education programs. More recently he has spent a number of years working in land restitution, producing expert reports on land claims cases.
