Elizabeth Maheso' (60)house, situated next to the Anglo American Platinum mine has been a victim of cracks whenever the mine conduct its business next to Ga Chaba village. Due to close proximity the houses there are falling apart from the shaking movement coursed by blasting of the rock in the mine. The mine refuse to take responsibility and to help those who have lost their homes due to this. Photo;Leon Sadiki

It has been business as usual for some who refused to be moved in Motlhotlo rural village outside Mokopane, Limpopo. The village is a former version of itself, with patches of rubble from houses that were demolished when some were moved by Anglo American Platinum, to create way for mining activities. Few families remained behind and mining continue on their door step.

Francinah Setunya and her husband are part of the families that were moved to Ga Sekhaulelo. She has not received an RDP house, stays with her husband in a two roomed shack.
