PARI’s internal seminars have started up again, kicking off with Marcus Walton’s presentation of his paper, On the Peripheries: Protest and Public Goods in Continental Africa. In his paper, he considers protests around public goods in 3 African countries: the Egyptian bread revolution, the Nigerian fuel movement and South Africa’s housing service delivery protests.
