Brian Levy is the lead editor and co-author of The Politics and Governance of Basic Education: The tale of two South African Provinces.
Brian Levy gave a seminar at PARI on Wednesday, 21 November, looking at the state of basic education in South Africa. He is Professor of the Practice of International Development, School of Advanced International Studies, John Hopkins University, Washington DC, USA and Academic Director, Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, University of Cape Town, South Africa. His books include Working with the Grain: Integrating Governance and Growth in Development Strategies (2014) and Building State Capacity in Africa (2004).
