The State Capture and its Aftermath conference was a 3-day conference in the #AfterCapture campaign programme. It ran from 22-24 October 2018, featuring 17 panels and roundtables on the aftermath of state capture in various areas of the state and civil society, with an impressive programme of local and international speakers from academia, private sector, government and civil society.

Each session was documented and the comprehensive report is now available for download. None of the papers that were given at the conference have been made publicly available yet. However, for specific requests for access, please contact info@pari.org.za.

This conference was the second stage in the #AfterCapture programme, following a series of roundtable sessions, in which various stakeholders and experts were brought together around thematic discussions on the need for state reform in South Africa.
