The twentieth G20 Summit was held in Johannesburg over 22-23 November 2025 – the first G20 to be held in Africa. PARI’s Executive Director, Dr Sithembile Mbete, gave wide commentary in interviews and panels on development in Africa and other areas of discussion, such as the United States’ controversial decision to withdraw from the Summit.
